NuWu Sessions: Mitch & Shay from Caider Nation

Welcome to this month’s NuWu Sessions! Our host Tom is joined by Mitch and Shay, owners of the ultra delicious Caider Nation food truck. Often frequenting NuWu Cannabis Marketplace, Caider Nation and Vegas Tasting Room have teamed up to offer patrons delectable infused meals while smoking in Nevada’s first and only consumption lounge. With their previous fine dining culinary experience working on the Las Vegas Strip, Mitch and Shay have teamed up to create some of the most interesting, tasty meals you’ll ever order from a food truck - including the legendary Black Hole burger, stacking an all beef angus patty, marinated braised short rib, Caider cheese sauce, fried onion strings, and horse radish aioli 🔥 Caider Nation’s goal is to leave an impact and reinvent the idea of the ‘food truck’ - and they sure deliver with some of the exquisite meals ever, guaranteed to cure those munchies. Our host Tom, along with Mitch and Shay, share a VIP Vegas Tasting Room package, curated by our staff to showcase some of Nevada’s premiere, top-shelf cannabis.

Our smoke session begins with some hand shaken NuWu Sunrise and Strawberry Cannarita canna-cocktails, each infused with 5mg of THC. Our Tasting Room package, sponsored by 22RED, is complete with some elevating, pungent 22RED full gram prerolls. We talk to Mitch and Shay about the formation of Caider Nation, right when the COVID-19 pandemic began, the challenges they faced, and advice to those wishing to get in the food truck business. Over our smoke sesh, we also talk about the legendary Caider Nation menu - what Mitch describes as their own ‘personal playground’, an ever-changing, unexpected lineup of rich, savory meals. We talk about the formation of their first and one of their most popular menu items - the Black Hole burger, as well as the enticing ‘secret menu’, offering some of the food trucks most delicious meals, including NuWu staff favorite, the garlic noodles, served with mouth watering 12-hour braised short rib. When it comes to Caider Nation, expect the unexpected, and prepare for some of the most heavenly food you’ve ever had come out of a truck.
