  Formed in 2020 during a global pandemic, Algorerhythm was founded by bassist Tom Nieves, Guitarist Karl Christenson, and drummer Brian Hanks with one mission: have fun. In that time, they have not only succeeded in their mission, but also managed to record and release two EPs, 8 music videos, and several episodes of their biweekly VLOG.

Jakob's solo career emerged from the ashes of his former band's breakup and final album, Lawful Evil, which was released earlier this year. But he wasted no time and immediately set out on the road with his new band Jakobs Castle on a full U.S tour with Sitting on Stacy, followed by a West Coast tour supporting DENM. His show-stealing performances at this year's Cali Vibes and Reggae Rise Up Las Vegas have left audiences craving more, with future appearances lined up for Coachella and Beachlife.

Born in Long Beach but raised in Hawaii and San Diego, Jakob Nowell's connection to Long Beach runs deep. It's a spiritual place for him, where his family is, and it's where he decided to return at the age of 17. Long Beach's past meets the new, pretty and gritty, as Jakobs Castle ushers in a new age of SoCal music that will leave you mesmerized. Jakob Nowell and his family are also actively working on a foundation called Bradley's House, a foundation started by the late Bradley Nowell's sister to fight against the opioid crisis and help musicians struggling with addiction.
